Today on “Thanksgiving” when you are sitting down feasting with the family, please, give thanks to this man from the Wampanoag Indians.
It was Vernon ‘Silent Drum’ Lopez’s Wampanoag Ancestors who warmly greeted the first settlers to Plymouth Rock - before eventually, along with other tribes - being wiped out.
Please remember these generous-hearted people who welcomed the settlers with open arms and hearts…
Thank you.
1:23 and I work in the morning. Every day I do what I have to do and then some. I am not perfect. I am not free. I am not a slave. I am a hueman, being in my context and environment and trying to maintain my integrity and authenticity battered between victims and oblivious exploiters. Between children and money counters. Between lovers and deathdealers.
The colonization has been in effect for so long now we take it for granted and call it capitalism. We call our persecuters ‘boss’ or ‘corporations’ or ‘banks’.
what happened to their faces? They dissapeared them and melted into the televisions behind closed doors and thick velvet curtains.
Pulling the strings for profits sake in a rigged craps game they take, take, take and how they do it is by convincing us to buy buy buy !
Sentimentality sells so well they have indians killling turkeys to eat for ‘thanksgiving’ dinner.
The last supper over and over again commemorating the rape of a nation.
And jesus turned the other cheek? I remember him loving and supporting and healing the meek and humble, not exploiting their weaknesses and feeding them genetically modified, hormone injected, triple breasted turkeys.
These turkeys have it worse than the indians… and we eat it up.
Licking our lips after chomping into the rape and enslavement on a plate.
Karma has a strange sense of humor eh?
Maybe its just the owners of this nation that see the ironic turn and smile a twisted smile.
There are more things on earth and in heaven than we can imagine and yet anything we can imagine is true. We are not gone and dead. We are not bereft or lost. We are not a lost culture only a confused and deceived one. We have been convinced that there are standards (set by the rapists) that people need to meet to be human…. and they have nothing to do with being human!
We are not seperate peoples only from different cultures.
We have been divided for too long and its time for us to give thanks for what we have and also show our grattitude by giving and sharing and remembering that we are related people sharing the same gifts from the same creator.
Creator doesnt become different just because we call creator by different names.
No one can copyright god as god is all of us together as one.
I have grattitude for being here at this time.
I have grattitude for my mind, my spirit and my body
I have grattitude for my parents, my grandparents and ancestors.
I have grattitude for my children and my friends
I have grattitude for the changes that are coming to this planet, may we all do our best, imperfect as we are, to honor life here in all of its forms as we once did and may we come together to invest in ourselves intelligently as communities.
I love you
Give thanks
Thank you
Yes indeed, we do remember what this holiday is all about? Out of all the holidays that we remember, this holiday is both sad and joyous. Joyous in the sense that we have much to be grateful for. Sad in the respect that the early settlers violated the Native Americans by committing genocide to that great nation. For nation it was. I believe that the ghosts of the Native Americans who were slaughtered, will not rest until they are avenged, not for vengeance, but for justice.
How that comes to pass, is up to the Great Spirit. For nothing, nothing in regard to karma goes without consequence in any action. It may be that those who commit genocide will pay with dear blood in the next incarnation by being involved in another great genocide of which they will be victims. Yet, this sort of cycle will just bring more cycles and it can be endless. Therefore, karma will be played out, yet, people will continue to suffer until an end to it is put.
So, how do we end it? How do we stop the killings? Is the answer blowing in the wind like they sing about? What must we turn to in order to have peace at last? It must be something that we all value. Something that engages the senses in a primitive way, like music. Also, something like Face Book, where people are connecting deeply with each other. When there is deep connection, love is born.
Let peace be born from this love and from the music of the heart. Let peace prevail. Let love prevail. Ho!

We will live in peace when we ALL unite in unconditional love. There is plenty for ALL. plenty of LOVE. Plenty of FOOD. Plenty of SHELTER. with unconditional LOVE there is an abundance of everything good. That simple….. <3 <3 <3
